Having all the wealth, but at the expense of no family.
Umm Khalid from MuslimSkeptic:
I watched an interview with a female self-made millionaire.
She is now 59 years old, is in real estate and in the restaurant business, and has a large team of people working for her.
Talking about her childhood, she shared that she had an Italian father and a German mother. Both parents were first-generation immigrants to Canada and worked hard to raise her and her brother. She grew up middle class, and learned the value of hard work and saving money.
Her first business move was buying a small building and opening up a restaurant. It was hard work, but she put in time and effort, and the restaurant did well. She opened up a second restaurant, and then a third, a fourth. She kept buying more real estate and opening up more restaurants in them, and expanding her business ventures. Most of what she made, she didn’t spend on luxury items for herself but rather put back into the business. Her net worth grew.
Eventually, she became a millionaire.
The interviewer asked her, “What is your one regret?”
She answered, “That I never became a mother.”
A whole lot to unpack after reading this, but the full article speaks for itself.
Prioritize motherhood and you will never regret it.
