Ramadan day 17 - the father’s presence.

A father’s presence is invaluable in the household, but it’s different from a mother’s presence. For the mother, it’s about quantity of time. For the father, it’s about the quality of time spent with the kids. Fathers usually end up getting the short end of the stick when it comes to time, but they need to make the best use of it.

It is equally important to spend time with your daughters and your sons. Daughters need their father to validate them. The father needs to validate their beauty by complementing their attire, their jewelry, etc. It is the best way for a girl to get the attention she craves by her natural God given fitra. If she doesn’t get that validation from her father, she will seek it elsewhere…

Boys need a father so they can find their purpose and have a role model to follow. The statistics show how fatherless boys leads to an increased likelihood of aggression, criminal activity, and overall lower outcomes from an educational, financial, and every other metric you can think of, point of view.
