Ramadan day 19 - Ramadan brings unification.
Ramadan is a great time to bring unification of the Ummah at large, starting from the family to the greater Muslim Ummah:
You eat suhoor with your family.
You pray with your family.
You break your fast with your family.
You’re going through the same experience of fasting as your family, so you can relate to one another on a subconscious level.
You also get a feeling of how the less fortunate feel, and you can relate to your brothers and sisters across the globe who are hungry outside of Ramadan.
The Masjid is full, and you get to meet new and old friends on the regular.
People are having babies Alhumdulilah and others I know are going through struggles in the process of having a baby, and it gives you the opportunity to make dua for your fellow Muslim on a deeper level.
Now with the current war situation, unification is also more apparent and necessary than it ever has been in my lifetime.
Oh Allah, unite the Ummah as one entity struggling for your sake, Ameen!
